Troop 99 Mission Statement

We Know
The Way.

Each Scout blazes their own trail in Scouting. The path may be faint, or may not yet exist. Troop 99 is the compass that guides them to their destination. We know the way.

About Troop 99

Troop 99 is the oldest, continuously chartered troop west of the Mississippi. Chartered in 1916, the troop was originally known as Troop 1 until the merger of the Orange County and North Orange County councils. Our charter organization is the Sunrise Rotary Club. Troop 99's Scout House was originally located on Imperial Hwy. next to the Packing House. It has since been moved to its present location on Imperial Hwy and Casa Loma in Hurless Barton Park. The mission of Troop 99 is to develop the youth of our troop into productive citizens by providing an engaging and supportive Scouting program that encourages growth through both intellectual and physical activities. We work to develop leadership skills by providing training, role models and opportunities to lead within the troop.

Our Troop goes on many fun outings!
